After months of planning my leave has finally arrived. I am looking forward to the opportunity to discover more about our Chuch's history and the life of St Paul as he travelled through Greece and Turkey. I know I am leaving the school in wonderful hands for the next 5 week.

Staffing arrangement

Tomorrow we welcome back Liz Foster who has been visiting her extended family in the Philippines. Helen Houghton is also taking Long Service Leave for the next 5 weeks and Kirsty Godschalx will be taking the class full time. Have a wonderful time Helen.

Last year in November a group of children, now in Year 5, participated in the Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study (TIMSS). The children were required to complete a series of questions around Maths and Science. The findings will feed into an international report to be released in December 2020. In acknowledgement of their involvement, the children who took part will be issued with a certificate to be sent home on Friday.

Overall results have been released for the 2019 Annual Parent Survey. This year 125 parents responded to the survey. Parents were asked to express their satisfaction in response to a number of statements. Their responses were scored as follows:-

The average score for each statement is colour coded for quick reference.
0 to 1     Red     1.1 to 2  Yellow      2.1 to 3   Green

When comparing our results to 2018 we have seen gains in many areas. We continue to address issues relating to the management of behaviour incidents and the use of technology as well as the communication of school-wide targets for improvement and student outcomes. A review of parent comments will provide insight into parental concerns relating to these four areas specifically.  Once again thank you for providing feedback to the annual survey.
