The annual trivia night, Tiara's Tradies and Trivia, was a resounding success. The efforts people went to dress in the theme was fantastic although it did make picking Best on Ground a challenge. "Fix my Sheet 2" returned to successfully defend their winner's title and lift the Brain's Trust Trophy. The Thrusting Tradies did the same by adding to their wooden spoon collection! The lovely Leah Platts was the winner of the lucky door prize, donated by Tara Cheyne, MLA, Member for Ginninderra and Steve Solari was thoroughly delighted to defeat the reigning champion of paper plane throwing, Mick O'Connor, in this year's challenge. All in all, it was just lovely to see the school community get together, join in the fun and silliness and enjoy a night out. A big shout out again to Ben Faulks and his team at Ray White Canberra for their financial sponsorship of the evening which covered most of the costs incurred in holding the event, as well as all the local businesses who donated vouchers and prizes for the silent auction. This wonderful ongoing support for our school has resulted in a profit from the night of around $2,400. So be sure to support those who support our school!
