2024 ACT Primary Schools Chess Championship – Belconnen Zone 

On Tuesday 11 students from our school were among the 66 students who attended the 2024 ACT Primary Schools Chess Championship – Belconnen Zone at Macgregor Primary School. Team 1 of Iyin, Kobe, Cooper and Emanuel came 3rd with a score of 18.5 from a possible 28.  They will progress to the ACT Primary Schools Chess Championship at Trinity School in late Term 3. All the students competing in the chess tournament showed their chess skills, focus, resilience and good sportsmanship and should  be very proud of their efforts.
