Another fun day was had yesterday exploring fossils. We needed to problem solve and be creative to break the fossils apart to find out what was inside and this resulted in a lot of messy play and naming of the different colours we found. We used our fine motor skills to make some animal imprints to explore how fossils can be made and discussed new language to extend our vocabulary. It was such a beautiful autumn day so we took most of our play outside with the bikes and play equipment before it gets too cold. Next week is full of sensory activities and we hope you can join in the fun.
