Prayer for the End of Term
We thank you Lord, for this term. For the challenges, the successes, and the mistakes from which we have learnt. Be with us as we spend our time with family and friends. Give us strength and courage to do what is right: to be witnesses of our faith. Help us to be a practical Christian these holidays, to appreciate what others do for us, to give time and effort to help others. To be peacemakers in our family. Keep us safe in our activities; give us good rest and good fun. Bring us back refreshed and ready for a new term. We thank you for our classmates, teachers, parents and a community that cares for us. May we always be conscious of you in our lives. Amen
Our Lady of Perpetual Help Feast Day
Wow! What an amazing day was had by our parish schools last Friday. St Monica’s Kindergarten - Year 2 students headed off to St Michael’s early in the day for a day of gathering, prayer, fun and lots of jumping! St Michael’s Year 3- Year 6 arrived at St Monica's at 9:50am and headed straight out to Morning Tea. Following the arrival of Fr Loi, Mr Ellis and Ms Maguire the Year 3- Year 6 students of both schools gathered in the church for our special liturgy. Then, we all moved down to school for our activities. Years 3/4 and Years 5/6 participated in a variety of activities from meditation, human noughts and crosses, “Matthew, Mark, Luke and John’- a clapping game, colouring-in, team building with tent poles etc, etc. All students participated whole heartedly and spent time getting to know our friends from St Michael’s. Many thanks to all the teachers who prepared and ran the rotations on the day!

Preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation will commence for Year 6 students next Term.
Confirmation Enrolment Form and Parish Invitation have been sent home with Year 6 students today.
