It has been a busy few weeks for sport at St Monica's! 

• Congratulations to Jett S - (6Blue) who was a part of the ACT U12's Hockey side that won gold last week in Hobart at National Primary School Hockey Championships. We are so proud of you Jett!
• This week Charlie D (6Blue) and Cooper D (6 Blue) are in Lavington participating in the National U12 ACT Championships in AFL. We look forward to hearing about their week when they return to school.
• Last week our ¾ boys basketball team participated in the Northside Gala Day. The boys came away with 1 win and 2 losses. The boys had a great day and showed excellent school spirit. 

Upcoming Opportunities

• Please see information sent out on Compass regarding representative opprtunities for ACT U12's softball. 
• Any students in Years ¾ who are interested in participating in the Todd Woodbridge Tennis Gala day later this term (14 September) please email Mr Matchett. There is no cost to participate and beginners are welcome but must have some understanding of how to play and rules. Parents will be responsible for transporting their child. Once expressions of interest have been received we will notify parents if we are going ahead and send out permission forms on Compass.
