Yesterday 10 students represented St Monica’s Primary School at the Canberra Heat of KIds LIt Quiz at Merici College. The students worked in teams to answer questions on books ranging from myths, picture books, nursey rhymes, comics and classics. The students competed against other students in Years 5, 6, 7 and 8 and can be very proud of their efforts with Team 1 having the highest score in one of the 10 rounds and each being able to select a book. Our Year 5 students returned to school keen to start reading ready for 2024.
