Dear St Monica’s families and friends,

Over the past two days the school has undergone its 5 yearly Registration Standards and School Improvement process. It has been delightful to have the 7 panel members spend time across all facets of our school. Celebrating our successes and supporting us in finalising our strategic plan for the next 3 years.

I am incredibly proud of my staff who have gone above and beyond to get their documentation ready and for showcasing the wonderful teaching and learning that is taking place in the classrooms.

I am ever so appreciative of my Leadership Team, particularly Maggie Lloyd, who has shown unwavering support of me to make sure the two days have run as smoothly as they have.

I am grateful and thankful to our parent community, some of whom who gave up their time to speak to the panel about this great school of ours. Finally to our students, you are the reason we are here and all of the commendations, affirmations and actions we receive from the panel are for you! We will receive the final report in the coming months which will be available for distribution to our community. 

Catholic Schools Enroment Period - Next Tuesday 16 May and Thursday 18 May our school will be hosting two Open Days. The school will be open for tours and at 6pm, on the Tuesday evening, we also will be hosting an Enrolment Information Session. 5 flyers were sent home with each family on Monday afternoon. Please distribute these to anyone you know who is interested in finding out more about our school and encourage them to come over for a visit!

Mothers' Day

To all of the amazing women in our lives: mums, grandmothers, nans, aunts, sisters, neighbours, colleauges and friends. Happy Mothers' Day! May you be blessed with a sleep-in, warm cups of tea or coffee, snuggles and hugs, breakfast in bed and perhaps even some delightful treats from the Mothers' Day Stall tomorrow! 

Join us from 7.45am, in the courtyard, for Danishes and a cuppa on us.
