Overdue Library Notices Emails

The borrowing time for books is a fortnight and there are some students who have had their library books for several weeks. I will be sending out overdue notices as a reminder of titles that families need to return so they can get new books for the holidays.  I am emailing the notices to parents today. This is to give families the opportunity to read the stories over the weekend or spend time finding books.

St Monica’s Street Library 

It has been great to see that the community has been enjoying borrowing books from our Street Library.  I have been able to top up the library with books that have been donated but this supply is running low.  It is now time to embrace the philosophy of the Street Library and return or pass on to others books you have borrowed and place  a couple of books that you think others would enjoy in the library.  I will continue to monitor the library.  If you are donating books and there isn’t room I am happy for you to leave them at the school library and I will add them when there is space.  Happy Reading!
