Principal's Message

Dear Parents

My final St Monica's newsletter and must say I'm a little lost for words. So many thank yous and goodbyes are occurring this week. Please take the time to read the school magazine sent home today as it captures in words and pictures my thoughts and reflections. It has been a privilege and very special to lead such a beautiful community.

Staff Farewells

I wish the staff leaving all the very best as they have contributed so much to the community.

  • Luke Donnelly - St Thomas More's as Principal
  • Christopher Evans - Rosary, Watson
  • Bob Fletcher - retiring to enjoy the family and hoddies at home
  • Jamie Austin - further study
Families Leaving
This week we say goodbye to many of our Year 6 families who have contributed so much to the community. We also farewell several other families who are leaving our community and heading interstate - Field, Allard, Leane, Gunn and Price families. We wish them all the best.
School Reports
The Semester Two reports were published via the Compas Parent portal. A reminder to families leaving that access to the portal will not be available once your child finishes on Friday, so please download a copy. A special thank you to the teachers for your efforts with the interviews and the preparation of the reports. It has been a very busy end of year.
Uniform Shop Opening 2022
Our uniform shop will be open on Friday 21 January 2022 between 1.00pm - 5.00pm for families requiring uniform for the new school year. Where possible please process and pay for the uniform via Qkr to be picked up on the day.
2022 School Year
School returns for all the children on Monday 31 January 2022. Arrangments for the first day will be -  Year 1 to 6 to arrive in time for the first bell at 8.50am followed by the Kindergartens who will commence at 9.30am. This will allow for parents to continue to observe the current COVID restrictions, expected to still be in place in schools.
I wish everyone a very safe and happy Christmas filled with many blessings.
