New Families
This week we welcomed the Hillier family - Joshua (3CF) and Evans family - Grace (4SG) to St Monica's community.
Staffing News
This Friday Emma Russell will be starting her holidays a little earlier. For the last two weeks of the term Jane Carr will be teaching 2RR. Emma will be around and dropping into school but wanted some extra family time, prior to Christmas.
Parent-Teacher Interviews
It was wonderful to see so many parents take up the opportunity to catch up with their child's teacher before the end of the year. This meeting has enabled the teachers to let parents know the standard of work currently being achieved and to focus on targetted goals for the start of the 2022 school year. Reports will be issued via Compass in the last week of the term.
Community Council Representative
We received a number of nominations to join our St Monica's Community Council. I will be in touch with each member to confirm your nomination before I publish names.
Absentee Notes
I cannot stress the importance that all absences from school must be explained. Absentees notifications can be submitted via the Compass Parental Portal. Reminder notifications will be emailed home on Monday.
2022 Kinder Orientation - Save the Date
We have set aside Tuesday 7 and Thursday 9 December, between 3.30pm and 4.30 pm, for our 2022 kinder children to visit for two short orientation sessions. Please contact the office if you did not receive the information email.
St Monica's Uniform Shop Reminder
Our uniform shop is now open to parents in the community to drop in on a Friday morning between 8.45am and 9.15am for essential items. Please remember you are on the school grounds and so masks are required when indoors, parents must check-in at the door with the Check In CBR app and maintain social distancing requirements. Numbers in the shop must be kept to a minimum. Qkr payments are our preferred method of payment or Eftpos.
Our uniform shop will be open for our new families on Thursday 25 November between 3.45 and 5.00pm.
