After learning about the needs and wants of different communities, the Year 1 students were given the challenge of designing a community for the Oompa Loompa’s who had recently been evicted from Willy Wonka’s Factory.

The students worked collaboratively to plan, draft, and construct an amazing place where the Oompa Loompas could come together to work, learn and play. The town was given the name Oompa Loompaville and the Year 1 students were transformed into little Oompa Loompas who lived there.
