Chief Minister’s Reading Challenge    

St Monica’s is participating in the Chief Minister’s Reading Challenge. The challenge commences today and involves students reading 30 books before Friday 6 August. There will be prizes awarded to winning schools, but most importantly is that the challenge fits wonderfully with our footsteps of engagement and growth in reading. The students may read 30 books of their choice or there is an option for students to challenge themselves and try reading something different. Information about students challenging themselves to read something different can be found at The Chief Minister's Reading Challenge Resources - Education (act.gov.au). The Individual Student Reading Record will be kept in the classes or the library.  The students will have the opportunity during library each week to update their record and have books signed off.
