You may have noticed some signs around St Monica’s outdoor areas and wondered what they are about. These signs help to remind us how we can resolve relationship problems when they occur on the playground, or in the classroom. 

Restorative Practices assists teachers, students and parents to build, maintain and restore relationships. Restorative Practices helps us at St Monica’s build capacity to enable students to self regulate behaviour and contributes to the improvement of learning outcomes. This week the children in Kindergarten have been learning about Restorative Practices in their classroom. They are learning to use the questions below to resolve problems when they arise.
