The Assessment Waterfall @ St Monica's - Luke Donnelly
Individual Goal Setting
The final stage of the Assessment Waterfall is the stage that has been recognised consistently by all of our students as being important. Once a student knows the Learning Intention and Success Criteria, receives Descriptive Feedback from their teacher and engages in Peer and Self Assessment they are in a great position to create an individual goal for improvement.
Individual Goal Setting has been a feature at St Monica's for a number of years and it was affirming when spending time with each class to hear that students are aware of the importance of Individual Goal Setting and the effect it can have on their learning.
