What are the St Monica's 4 Ps?

This week we are celebrating the Feast of St Monica, our Patron Saint. As part of our school prayer and the art and craft competition, we have been exploring the 4 Ps. The 4 P’s are four of St Monica’s qualities that we, as a school community, use to help us to grow together. So what are the 4 Ps? They are:

Prayer - - Perseverance - - Patience - - Praise

Each term this year, we have used one of the 4 P’s to help guide us as we investigate our 3-weekly focus, continuing to grow together and strengthening our Catholic school community. The theme of our art and craft competition this week is ‘Growing Together the St Monica’s Way’. I cannot wait to see how this is represented! On Friday the winners will be announced, and the art works will feature on our school Facebook page. I wonder how the 4 P’s will shine through?

 Year 3 Reconciliation – Retreat

Please keep the Year 3 candidates and their families in your prayers over the coming weeks as they continue to prepare to receive God’s healing grace and forgiveness through the Sacrament of Reconciliation.

Tomorrow, Year 3 will continue to explore what it means to forgive and be forgiven during their retreat session. Students and their teachers will be gathering to explore scripture through role play, create artworks and discuss and reflect how they are going to act as forgiving people of God.

The Sacrament of Confirmation Registration
