Success Criteria

This week in the Assessment Waterfall we are focusing on Success Criteria. The Success Criteria is co-constructed with students and is based on how to achieve the Learning Intention. Success Criteria outline the steps involved, what the verbs in the Learning Intention are asking you to do and what content knowledge needs to be applied to achieve the learning required. 

The Success Criteria is a vital element of the Assessment Waterwall as it gives students and teachers the basis for providing descriptive feedback, participating in peer and self-assessment and setting individual goals.
