Thank you for all the support in the first few weeks since the canteen has reopened.

Now that we are back into it, a few reminders.  If you have ordered your child a lunch, but they are absent that day, please contact the school prior to 10.30am on that day.  This will enable me to postpone your child's order for the next week.  If it is after that, we are often in the process of preparing the hot items and it then goes to waste.  

If your child has forgotten their lunch, dropped it, lost it... we will supply them with a lunch.  A note will be forwarded home to advise you and request a payment for this service.  If you do not want your child to be automatically supplied with a lunch, you need to advise me (opt out). If you have not paid for a paper bag, please remind your child to put in their lunch wallet.

The volunteer app has been well received, we have already had some new helpers in the canteen and they have survived!!  Fridays are definitely our busiest days, we are supplying well over 130 lunches and sometimes up to 180 all for one service time!  This is definitely a job that takes a village, so if you even have just half an hour on a Friday, your help would be most appreciated.

Lastly, please pass on my thanks to all my little customers; they have wonderful manners, are being very patient on busy days and giving me some great feedback on new products.  Working with these lovely children is one of the best parts of my new job.
